- free bandwidth on dialup connections
- make mobile browsing faster
- allow more browsing on connections with given data limit
- an alternative to saturated Internet links in general
Can be run using xinetd, or you can use simple inetd replacement "netd" that is part of package, or even better through the provided ziproxy initscript. It is HTTP/1.1-aware and knows HTTPS tunneling. Requirements: · libjpeg · libpng · libungof · libconfuse · bzip2 · zlib
